Announcing Sage TimeSheet 9.85 | Nims Associates - Information Technology Consultants

Sage TimeSheet 9.85 will be available in January 2010. This release features several enhancements to improve the usability and the integration with other Sage products. For example, Sage TimeSheet can now easily send information to both Sage MAS 500 or Sage MAS 90 and 200 and Sage Abra. Also, Sage TimeSheet simplifies the data transfer between systems by distinguishing which employees and projects came from which integration and then updating the appropriate system.

With the Sage MAS 500 integration, Sage TimeSheet previously would add the company name in front of all components. Now with 9.85, there is an option to disable this feature making it easier to remove on screen clutter. It is also very simple to assign resources in TimeSheet. The project roster can now be used to automatically assign resources to projects.

Transferring data back and forth between Sage TimeSheet and Sage MAS 500 has never been easier. A new schedule option is available that will allow you to set the data to transfer on whatever time interval your company requires. The task dates in Sage TimeSheet will also be updated now when modified within Sage MAS 500.

When the job costing module is enabled within Sage MAS 90 and 200, the cost code type will now be required before data can be sent. This will help to ensure the data is accurate before attempting to post it into Sage MAS 90 and 200.
